Global eCommerce Principal UX Program Manager

Job Summary
The Principal E-Commerce Program Manager supports the development and delivery of online shopping experiences on hp.com. As part of the User Experience (UX) design group, the senior individual contributor in this role coordinates workflow and architecture of processes and tools for the Agile product teams. The Principal E-Commerce Program Manager should have strong business operations, leadership, and communication skills; familiarity with Agile product teams; and a background in ecommerce design, product management or project management.

Responsibilities

  • Leading process and workflow governance for the UX and UI design teams

  • Enabling product teams to develop and drive web experiences that result in significant and measurable improvements in shopper experience, purchase conversions, and revenue

  • Providing product teams and leaders with dashboards and notifications critical to tactical progress and strategic prioritization

  • Leading project planning compliance with new web standards, processes and tools, and regulatory laws

  • Developing productive internal/external working relationships and providing guidance to ecommerce designers, product managers, developers, and other team members


Education & Experience

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline or commensurate work experience.

  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in web design, software product management, project management, or a related field.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Expert in architecture administration of Jira workflows, dashboards and process management

  • Experience working in Agile software development product model methodology

  • Comprehensive understanding of eCommerce analytics and business strategies

  • Experience developing workflow automation

  • Skilled in Project Management

  • Skilled in User Experience (UX) and/or User Interface (UI) design

  • Proficient to advanced skills in at least three of Microsoft Teams, Adobe Analytics, Figma, React, Miro, OKR planning, Design Thinking

Cross-Org Skills

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills is required, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively

  • Spanish or additional languages a plus

  • Proficiency working in cross-functional and multinational teams

  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Passionate about ecommerce innovation and customer experience

The base pay range for this role is $110,000 to 159,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
