As Sr. Full Stack Developer I, you’ll work to deploy quality code to update, enhance, and add features to a suite of public-facing government web applications. You will work as part of a highly collaborative and high-performing agile scrum team, delivering work across two-week sprints.

What you’ll do:

  • You will participate in all agile scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives), developing and deploying secure, high-quality code to update, enhance, and add new functionality to a public-facing suite of government web applications.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
  • 5+ years' experience with a web-based application framework (Ruby on Rails backend, React frontend)
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Proven full stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby backend, as well as database technologies including Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • Experience working as part of an agile development team
  • Experience building production web applications on cloud-based infrastructure
  • Experience with git-based source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab, and Bitbucket
