Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Software Developer / Engineer to join a talented team within the BMD Simulations and Analysis Portfolio. You will be a part of a diverse team of software developers, engineers, and analysts supporting RF sensor systems research and development in a missile defense modeling and simulation environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate will support software design, integration, testing, and analysis activities.

Design, develop, optimize, test, deploy, and maintain software as a part of small teams leveraging Agile methods in a DevOps environment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

4-8 years of demonstrated performance in the design, development, and testing of real-time software applications and simulations.

Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, parallel algorithm development, distributed architecture development, and networking.

Candidates must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
