Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of PEGA PRPC Engineer (multiple positions) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
  • Code, test, debug and modify complex applications built on PEGA PRPC (PegaRULES Process Commander).
  • Define technical specifications considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems/contexts affected.
  • Collaborate with IT and the business to evaluate complex use requests and projects.
  • Clarify objectives and functional requirements and translate them into user stories.
  • Prepare technical design documents, deployment checklists and code review documents and production implementation, validation and backout plans for code migration.
  • Facilitate integration services using REST, SOAP, JMS & HTTP and configure security features using LDAP and SSO (single sign-on).
  • Perform Log and performance analysis using SPLUNK and Pega Rules Alert and Security Logs to evaluate patterns, outliers, and anomalies for tuning Performance of the production application.
  • Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements.
  • Ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3 years of experience as a software developer, or in a related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following:

(1) PEGA v7 or v8 and supporting frameworks.

(2) Coding, testing, debugging, and modifying complex applications built on PEGA PRPC (PegaRULES Process Commander).

(3) Experience using Splunk and Pega Rules Alert and Security Logs.

(4) Computer and Telephony integration including IVR, Screen-Pop and soft phone.

(5) Monitoring and diagnostic tools, including New Relic.

(6) Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

(7) CSS, ETL processes using SQL data warehouses, Java, Java Script, JDBC, Jenkins, JMS Connectors, LDAP and SSO protocols, OAuth, SQL Performance Tuning, QTP test automation, REST, SOAP, SSIS and XML.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location.

Pay Range: $127,878.00 - $150,500.00.
