Kepler is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Test Automation Designer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and maintainability of software across the full development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats: part test strategist, part automation developer, part infrastructure builder, and part quality champion.

You will work closely with software, systems, and hardware teams to analyze requirements, define verification strategies, build and maintain automated test systems, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of development workflows. This includes everything from designing test plans and writing automated tests to developing custom HIL solutions, simulators, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow automations.

What success looks like:

  • Test plans and test coverage are aligned with requirements and risk

  • Automated tests run reliably in CI/CD and provide fast, actionable feedback

  • HIL and simulation environments are stable, scalable, and useful to developers

  • Quality issues are identified early, and regressions are minimized

  • Engineering teams move faster because test infrastructure and workflows are efficient and easy to use

  • Quality is treated as a shared engineering responsibility, with this role helping lead that mindset

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about raising product quality while also improving developer velocity through smart tooling, scalable automation, and strong engineering practices.

Salary Range: $131,100 - 181,000 CAD
Actual total compensation will be determined at the Company’s discretion and is based on a variety of job-related factors, which may include, but are not limited to, relevant knowledge, skills, experience, performance, and education and/or training.
