You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. This is a full time, days position, working from 7:00pm - 3:15pm, including alternating weekend shifts.

 

Preferred Criteria 

  • Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting

 

Required Criteria

  • Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA)
  • Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
  • High school diploma or GED

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$37.35-$47.21/Hourly
