The Shopfloor Technician is responsible for operating machinery, assembling & testing products, and ensuring smooth production processes on the shop floor. This role involves maintaining quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. And responsible for doing trials for new fixture/tools/equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Perform assembly, testing, packaging, and material handling tasks as required.

  • Inspect products for quality and report any defects or deviations.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Assist in troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.

  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Diploma in Mechanical engineering/ Electrical engineering / Instrumentation engineering

  • Experience: 3–5 years in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machines.

  • Understanding safety and quality standards.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
