In this position, you will be at the center of our quality improvement processes, ensuring that all corrective actions are tracked, monitored, and completed. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain deep insight into the semiconductor industry's quality systems, including 8D reports and internal audits, while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams. If you are a highly organized and proactive individual with a passion for detail, this role offers a chance to make a significant impact on our product quality and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do:
Corrective Action & Audit Support:
Support the monitoring of all open actions from internal 8D reports, ensuring they are driven to completion.
Provide weekly and monthly follow-ups to all concerned groups on committed actions.
Assist Quality Engineers in monitoring and tracking audit action items and containment efforts for internal issues.
Data, Documentation & Reporting:
Gather and provide documents and/or data as requested by Quality Engineers to support customer queries and internal needs.
Prepare and generate reports for weekly, monthly, or quarterly reviews and dashboard meetings.
Update department manuals and documents through the Process Change Request (PCR) system in ETQ.
Section Coordination & Support:
Coordinate and communicate internal issues regarding quality, manufacturability, and reliability with engineers, technicians, and production staff.
Monitor the Quality Engineering section's office supply usage, inventory, and asset accountability.
Support the Cost Reduction Program by planning and monitoring the section's expenses.
Support group quality activities such as 5S.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to attaining the Quality Engineering section's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Accomplish a designated project to support improvements in productivity, efficiency, or cycle time.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the section.
What You Will Bring:
Education: You are a graduate of any four-year course or a Technical Engineering course.
Technical Skills: You are knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and other computer applications.
Functional Knowledge: You have foundational product and process knowledge, or the ability to learn it quickly.
Attributes:
You are highly organized with a keen eye for detail, especially in tracking and monitoring tasks.
You are a strong and persistent communicator, comfortable following up with various teams to ensure deadlines are met.
You are proactive and can work independently to support the goals of the team.
