Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 4) to join the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) team based out of Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis, and impact mitigation.

  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.

  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.

  • Identifies risk and opportunity and potentially develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.

  • Meets with leadership to gain approval.

  • Provides implementation direction for work authorization.

  • Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain the status of programs, customer and supplier commitments, and compliance.

  • Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.

  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.

  • Partners with organization leaders on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives, and initiatives.

  • Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations.

  • Develops executive-level briefings.

  • Leads the design, logistics, and facilitation of large meetings/events.

  • Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget; monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Washington.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years related work experience or a master’s degree and 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role

  • 5+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects

  • 5+ years of experience do you have developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • PMP Certified or experience with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management experience

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

  • Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with electrical systems

  • Wire Shop knowledge of systems, tools, and processes

  • Insight with Strategy, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, & Quality and Safety

Typical Education/Experience: 
Senior: (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
