Tyler Veterinary Center in Tyler, TX is looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our team!

Location: 4505 Old Bullard Rd, Tyler, TX 75703

Closed on weekends!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Actively support veterinarians and other staff in daily patient and client care.
  • Be an active listener, paying close attention to details.
  • Observe the behavior and conditions of animals.
  • Be able to prep and monitor animals for surgical procedures.
  • Phlebotomy
  • Actively demonstrate dependability and importance of work to clients, supervisors, and other  employees.
  • Participate in cross-training and willing to work in all areas of the hospital.
  • Easily adapt to situations that arise such as emergencies, taking initiative, dealing with high volume on the phone as well as in person.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have 2+ years in the veterinary industry
  • Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Believes in the importance of client education
  • Compassionate toward our patients and clients
  • Motivated to learn new skills
  • Positive and supportive team player
