Job Details

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $20.97 - $21.97 per hour.

Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday / 3PM - 11:30PM.

Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are also able to enroll in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan.

Eligibility requirements depend on your job classification, length of employment and number of hours worked. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits outlined above.

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Greeter is responsible for welcoming guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital or casino and local areas in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner. He/She is also responsible for assisting with guest inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services. In addition, the Lead Greeter orchestrates the service experience alongside his/her co-workers. Under the direction of the Account Manager, the Lead Greeter has additional duties involving coordination and administration, as well as providing troubleshooting and/or guidance when the manager is not on site. The Lead Greeter is not a manager, however, they may handle day-to-day operational issues and may be required to make judgement calls when expiendency is priority. When issues are not urgent, they will report information to the manager, provide facts of the matter and seek instructions on how to proceed. The Lead Greeter is a model for other cashiers and is highly knowledgeable of the job and operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest/Patient Service

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all Guest/Patients, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledges and greets Guest/Patients with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Answers the telephone promptly and politely; within client/Towne Park standards
  • Uses salutation of the day
  • Demonstrates a willingness and ability to assist others
  • Monitors and responds to emergencies on a priority basis
  • Practices proper client and/or Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Assists visitors with directions, information and other inquiries
  • Provides Guest/Patients with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Ensures that patient and business confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • Delivers messages, items and/or amenities as requested
  • Promotes a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills
  • Leads the work group in delivering high levels of guest service
  • Appoints fellow associates to certain routine roles; Assigns coworkers to non-ordinary roles at the direction of the Account Manager
  • At the direction of the Account Manager, reduces staff during the work shift if business conditions dictate, using an approved method

Systems and Standards

  • Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Account Manager
  • Treats Guest/Patients and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity
  • Follows all appearance standards as set forth by Towne Park, including complete approved pressed uniform
  • Follows all attendance standards as set forth by Towne Park, as required by the scheduling which may vary according to the needs of the location
  • Executes all terms and conditions as set forth in the Towne Park Associate Handbook and other policies and procedures
  • Utilizes client/Towne Park logs as specified
  • Completes tasks as outlined in client standard operating procedures
  • Maintains clean, neat work environment including all surrounding areas of office, work area and desk

Safety and Risk Management

  • Follows site specific safety and security procedures
  • Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by Towne Park, including safe lifting techniques
  • Reports all accidents and incidents observed on shift to Guest Service Coordinator or Account Manager immediately
  • Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner
  • Is knowledgeable of hospital disaster codes and response plans
  • Follows client standard operating procedures for disaster codes and response plans
  • Reports all potential hazards and safety concerns to Account Manager

Administrative

  • Assists the Account Manager as needed to build work schedules and makes calls on behalf of the manager to notify fellow associates of schedule changes or openings
  • Reports to the Account Manager methods for improving operating procedures and overall efficiency
  • Effectively communicates information to the work group

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to read, speak and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Knowledge of equipment including telephones, codes and alarms, two-way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system
  • Ability to perform general typing and and/or basic computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in stressful situations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

  • Working flexible schedules and extended hours are sometimes required.
