Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a F-35 Integration & Operations Manager 2 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our F-35 organization.  This leadership role is located onsite in Redondo Beach, California.

This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 IPT management position supporting the F-35 program.  The manager will oversee the day-to-day activities for the Program Operations Organization on the F-35 program supporting the Program Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the integration and consolidation of information from all subordinate Operating Units to support Program Office briefings, white papers, and other deliverables to Air Dominance Division and NG Aeronautics Sector management and to external customers to include the F-35 Joint Program Office as appropriate.

  • Manage the relationship between the F-35 Program and counterparts on the Air Dominance Division staff, the NG Aeronautics Sector staff, Functional Homeroom staffs, and the external customer.

  • Manage the program’s Principle and Operating Practices (PrOP) documents, Program Management Directives and other governing documents providing guidance to the team and ensuring that all documents are renewed or deleted within the correct periodicity

  • Oversee program staffing requirements and ensure that the reports are issued on time per the appropriate reporting cycle (i.e. weekly, monthly)

  • Manage the program’s Facilities requirements across multiple locations to ensure adequate resources (seating, conference rooms, etc.) and optimal working conditions and drive Facilities requirements into the planning process for future years.

  • Create efficiencies on the team by constantly streamlining improving processes employed by the team

  • Mentor Program Operation team members for success in their current roles and develop them for success in future roles.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with at least 10 years of experience in project management, resource planning or facilities, OR a Masters Degree with at least 8 years of experience in project management, resource planning or facilities, OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 12 years of experience in project management, resource planning or facilities

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience leading a team, process, and/or projects

  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program Management experience

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry

  • Program execution and Functional management experience

Salary Range: $151,900.00 - $227,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
