Are you passionate about working with high growth businesses? We are looking for a Finance Manager, Partnerships & Alliances, to join the Finance team supporting Partnerships & Alliances (“P&A”), which is one of the newest and highest growth businesses at Thomson Reuters (“TR”). We in P&A combine strategic thinking with data driven decision making to enable our Legal Professionals, Corporates and TAP (collectively the “Big 3”) customer segments to grow by leveraging partnerships.
The Finance Manager, Partnerships & Alliances, will focus on supporting P&A’s financial impacts on the Big 3. This is a high visibility opportunity, which requires operating in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple high priority projects simultaneously. While this is an individual contributor role, there will be abundant project management opportunities across segments and functions requiring seamlessly switching between a coach and player roles as situations demand.
The Finance Manager, Partnerships & Alliances role will have full P&L responsibilities for P&A and should have the financial acumen to balance risks and opportunities to ensure continued profitable growth. The role requires collaborating cross-functionally to connect the dots across the business.
Shift Timings: 2 PM - 11 PM IST
Work Model: Hybrid - 2 Days' Work from Office
About the role:
Engage with Go to Market (“GTM”) Finance teams, P&A leadership, and P&A Operations to ensure all stakeholders are equipped with key metrics and tools to make sound financial decisions.
Lead and assist the P&A portions of quarterly business reviews (“QBRs”) in close partnership with business and segment finance partners.
Partner with GTM Finance to forecast P&A Sales.
Communicate monthly Sales, Revenue and Direct ExBITDA financial results to business partners and build long-term, trusted relationships as the go-to Finance resource for financial performance drivers.
Partner with stakeholders across the business to model long-term capital investment business cases, as well as short term partner-specific propositions.
Own partner level analytics to quickly identify trends and effectively communicate opportunities and risks to the business.
About You:
You’re a fit for the role of Finance Manager, Partnerships & Alliances if your background includes:
10+ years of experience in Finance roles supporting a business, especially GTM organizations.
Project leadership, finance management or FLDP (finance leadership development program)
Bachelor’s degree or higher (MBA) strongly preferred.
Proactive, highly organized, with strong time management skills.
Can effectively navigate a dynamic work environment with competing priorities.
Strategic and critical thinker; self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate and influence key leaders within the context of a complex, matrix organization to drive results.
Familiarity with data automation and analytical tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau etc.
Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting principles.
