Our Purpose
At our Supply Chain Department in Medtronic, plc, we focus on supporting
manufacturing operations in the production of medical devices in the Cardio-
Vascular area. Production Planners in Supply Chain are directly involved in
supporting our efforts to enable Medtronic to deliver quality products at a competitive price.

A Day in The Life Of:
• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the
production cycle.
• Oversees activities related to material control, inventory control,
shipping/receiving and storage functions.
• Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement
of materials with Purchasing, Production and Engineering.
• This is a temporary position on a 12-month contract.

• Responsible for performing and supporting research for teams operating
within a service group.
• Assists with the development monitoring, co-ordination and
implementation of non-technical projects as assigned.
• Provides analysis, reporting and internal communication services with team
members.
• Develops Knowledge of industry and organizational processes.

Key Skills & Experience
•We are looking for a qualified person with a minimum Level 7 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or Supply Chain Management.
•A dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
•You are dependable with solid work skills and habits and possess a willingness to learn new skills.
•Some technical aptitude and knowledge are desirable, but not essential.
•You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
