About the role:

In this opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Proactively resolve technical hurdles and continue innovative efforts within safe development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Good to have experience in Azure Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other team members to decompose large tasks into small testable tasks. Experience with integrating into a team employing Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Any Cloud migrations or Database Migrations to Cloud will be an added advantage. 
  • Provides 24x7 on-call as part of a rotation for the services provided by the team.

About you:

In this opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

    • 4-6 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with at least 2 years of DBA responsibilities in Microsoft SQL environments or similar role.
    • 4 year Engineering Degree.
    • Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud.
    • 3+ year of hands-on experience on DevOps technologies like Git, GitHub, infrastructure automation, containerization, and orchestration.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes in database technology.
    • Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans and indexing strategies. Also, proactively identify areas for improvement.
    • Working experience on Clusters and High Availability solution.
    • Hands-on experience in Linux/Windows infrastructure & knowledge of networking.
