Job Description:

WHAT YOU’ WILL DO: in this role your key responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor batch processes in CA Workload Automation.
  • Use defined schemes and procedures to execute control checklists. Cross-validate processes before starting the production chain and then before updating processes.
  • Perform controls at the times and schedules defined according to procedures.
  • Apply defined procedures in cases where manual intervention is required.
  • Execute jobs at the client's request, according to defined procedures.
  • Inform the Shift Leader (and, if unavailable, the Supervisor) of any exceptions detected in the process.
  • Immediately report cases where an error is detected, avoiding any deletion of evidence, logs, or resumptions, in order to analyze the solution to the unintentional error.
  • Inform the shift manager of any processing errors so those can be escalated to the client and/or DXC shifts.
  • Prepare and send reports to the Supervisor/Shift Leader of the area.
  • Hand over the shift according to procedure and pass all necessary information to the next shift.

WHO YOU ARE

Basic Qualifications:

  • Entry level
  • Typically, 0-1 years of relevant work experience
  • A strong desire to gain experience in infrastructure technology analysis
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology


Other Qualifications:
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, are a plus
