The Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing third‑party providers, ensuring timely planning and procurement of packaging materials, and coordinating contract manufacturing activities. This role ensures operational efficiency through strong vendor management, accurate planning, and continuous tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound distribution.

  • Responsible for distribution strategies to optimize business performance and increase customer service level.

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements (GxP).

  • Support cycle and annual counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and customers.

  • Monitor vendor performance and service levels, escalating issues and driving continuous improvement.

  • Evaluate new vendors and support sourcing activities when required.

  • Plan and execute the purchasing of packaging materials based on demand and forecasts.

  • Manage third party operations based on demand requirements.

  • Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs related to warehouse operations, supplier performance, inventory management, and distribution efficiency.

  • Prepare periodic reports with key insights and improvement recommendations.

  • Develop and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

  • Work closely with suppliers, procurement, customer service, quality and finance teams to ensure alignment across all activities.

  • Assist in resolving logistics issues, delays, or inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience leading people

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations and distribution.

  • 3–5 years of experience in supply planning or procurement.

  • Experience managing suppliers or logistics providers is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and planning skills.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Results‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
