The Vendor Management Systems (VMS) Account Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the company's national accounts with an emphasis on vendor management systems, Managed Service Providers (MSP), and select targeted accounts identified by management.
Additional Details:
Serves as account manager between Jackson + Coker and Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
Acts as MSP client advocates to ensure client needs are understood and satisfied while keeping Jackson + Coker’s internal department’s best interests at heart
Improves both internal teams and MSP clients’ overall customer experience with Jackson + Coker
Responsible for maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with company associates and with management
Submits physicians and APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) for name clear and conduct presents in a timely manner to earn procurement of providers as well as consideration for open positions
Reviews provider presents with recruiters to ensure that all requirements have been fulfilled before submitting presents to the client contacts
Confirms dates for working providers and work with MSPs to build schedules with confirmed providers
Consistently communicates with MSPs to discover new needs and grow current accounts by acquiring extensions and gaining intel for pipeline needs in the future
Opens Client Orders in internal CMS (Customer Management System) to include specific contract requirements and detailed job descriptions that meet MSP needs
Ensures contract compliance, through order detail with insight into the MSP processes and requirements
Accurately communicates client needs and requirements to recruiters
Markets open orders to job boards to increase provider pool
Effectively negotiates rates that are within company gross profit guidelines
Understands all Jackson + Coker specialties and their corresponding rates in all US territories
Conducts regular relationship building calls with key MSP managers.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive business relations with MSPs and their clients
Obtains customer feedback and continually work to improve services
Acts as Subject Matter Experts for PVL, Accounting, Service Coordinator, Training, Marketing, Sales, or internal CMS
Functions as the point of escalation from the initial introduction of the provider to the point where the provider starts receiving payment for the job, including privileging, licensing, rates, dates, travel, confirmations, timesheets, etc.
Meets regularly with internal associates to provide status updates and feedback on providers
Keeps management informed of activities, changes in competitive conditions, and significant roadblocks
Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly

Previous locum tenens experience preferred, but not required

3+ years of related experience in account management or a related field
