As a User Experience Designer you will deliver innovative and intuitive end-user experiences. Collaborating with range of stake holders, software engineers, content developers and architects on AVEVA technical support platforms. Working with teams and customers in different geographical locations to lead and conduct user research. You will use your excellent analytical and communications skills to synthesise and share user insights to the wider team. Ability to design best in class experiences based on user insights while following the UX design principles. A practical problem solver with an analytical approach to complex user experience tasks.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

• 4+ years UX experience backed by a portfolio of creating user-centred design solutions

• Ability to work across multi platforms: web and mobile

• Skilled in user research in a variety of methods such as interviews, diary studies etc

• Skilled in user journeys, workflows, wireframes and detailed interaction specifications

• Analyse problems and design simple, clean and pragmatic solutions

• Modern UI and look & feel of ribbon bars, dialogs… and ergonomic design of widgets…

• Championing user research, usability testing and identify key user requirements

• Good communication skills, ability to work on your own or in a team

• Capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment

• Work remotely and across many time zones, and may require some travel

Highly Desired Requirements

• Experience in performing remote user research and interpreting multi-cultural research

• Understanding of UX in an Agile environment

• Sketch designs with pencil & paper and digital tools

• Ability to develop prototypes for concept review

Hybrid working
