Department Overview:

FP&A Revenue team is a centralised department that supports and advises on revenue forecasting and reporting for our renowned Avis and Budget car rental brands. Our FP&A Revenue Analysts work with data from a variety of internal and external sources to drive data-driven decision-making for their stakeholders.

This critical activity requires consistent communication with other departments, data gathering and analysis as well as managing tools and processes to enable high quality revenue reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in FP&A,  excellent analytical and communication skills to play a key role in a busy team which is central to the company’s profitability. Key responsibilities for this position:

• Supporting revenue budgeting, forecasting and planning across two countries in Europe
• Ownership of revenue month end related templates to be posted by accounting team
• Producing insightful monthly management reporting, variances analysis and KPIs dashboards using QV, Tableau and PBCS to uncover risks trends and opportunities
• Presenting clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Preparing and attending forecasting review calls to challenge market performance and highlight areas of improvement
• Partnering with commercial team to drive data-driven decision-making across the business
• Supporting ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders
• Analysing and preparing revenue related costs forecasting using PBCS
• Preparing and analysing SIP targets and actuals for the commercial team working across with different HR, Commercial and finance representatives

Job requirements:

• Educated to degree level, ideally in a business related or science subject
• Fluent English. Additional languages are a plus
• Analytical skills using BI tools as QlikView, Tableau and PBCS
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to analyse complex scenarios and solve problems, formulate recommendations and communicate them effectively to senior management
• Communication skills: balancing talking and listening in meetings, communicating ideas simply and clearly, confident representing own views, regularly sharing information and ideas
• Completing work to a high level of accuracy and detail, maintaining focus, energy and effort when under pressure
• Planning and delivering; working hard to achieve or exceed targets and objectives, plans and prioritising work effectively
