What you'll do :
Manage the communication with factories
Request and track trim/ artwork submits, review and share comments with vendors
Creation and maintain WIP reports
Maintain PLM accuracy and details
Work closely with PD and Design Team on sourcing and tracking fabrications, trims, techniques for future developments
Work with Design/Product Development to ensure all details and timelines are met, red-flagging issues immediately Work closely with cross functional teams to adhere to the margin targets without sacrificing the integrity of the style
Prepare/ Attend and participate in Line Review and Finalization meetings
Negotiate costs directly with overseas factories to achieve the desired price point and margin goals
Collaborate with the Design Team to implement styles from initial concept through pass off to the Production Team
Connect with factories and follow-up on design development and style confirmation
Responsible for tracking and distribution of fabric/trim sourcing to Design team
Daily communication to ensure vendors enforce to Development Calendar
Build and Maintain BOM with accuracy
Pass development to Production with transparency for them to carry out production autonomously
Analyze sales data from present and past seasons
Participate in team store visits
Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
What you bring:
3+ experience in a retail or fashion-related industry role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills, retail math skills and attention to detail
Ability to be self-motivated; to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
PLM is a plus, Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop will be an asset
Highly organized and strong time management skills
Works well within a team environment
