Position Overview:

The GCC Finance Manager role involves ensuring compliance with government pricing policies for government calculations and collaborating across multiple functions to support contract and pricing strategies in the US Commercial Innovative Medicine business. The position also leads departmental compliance initiatives and develops process improvements. The role manages two employees and may require limited travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for government mandated calculations (Medicaid AMP & BP, Medicare ASP, 340B, FSS, NFAMP, FCP) for specific Brands.  This involves review, oversight, analysis and interpretation of data trends to understand variances and to minimize GCC risk.

  • Provide analysis, interpretation, and insights to support business planning and operational decision-making, and to articulate government pricing implications.

  • Engage in brand pricing strategies to ensure operational implications are manageable and to recommend compliant solutions.

  • Lead the assessment of government pricing and contracting impact related to ad hoc business requests; for example, voluntary pricing offers (i.e. subceiling, VA temporary voluntary price), Medicaid supplemental agreements, AG or unbranded product analysis, bundled product offers, and value-based contract arrangements.

  • Support internal audit and compliance requests. Ensure management action plans are coordinated and implemented.

  • Support the FSS contract by ensuring compliance with government requirements, including new contract implementation, changes in tracking customer pricing, price reduction triggers, new product additions, deletion of old products, etc.

  • Develop and improve processes and standard operating procedures to further enhance controls and to drive efficiency gains.

  • Review and assess implications of new Federal and State legislation and regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal GCC to build a strong overall compliance environment and develop / mentor staff.

  • Great opportunity to work with multiple functional areas such as SCG Pricing, Legal, Regulatory, Trade, Brand Marketing, Finance, Policy and others

  • Position manages two employees.

Qualifications:

Education

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline is required.

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years Finance, Accounting or a similar discipline are required

  • MBA, CPA, CMA or other certifications are helpful but not required

  • Government pricing/contracting experience is preferred.

  • Understanding of Pharmaceutical supply chain and Commercial contracting is preferred

  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills to include pivot tables, VLOOKUPS and formulas are required

  • Is organized and demonstrates strong leadership, communications, analytical, and influencing skills - required.

  • Experience with compliance, controls and related documentation is preferred.

  • Supervisory experience with ability to develop and engage staff is strongly preferred.

Other:

  • This position may require up to 5% of domestic travel.

  • This position is based in Titusville, NJ.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000 - $177,100

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
