Job Description

The Senior Accounting Associate will be responsible for managing the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. The Senior Accounting Associate will play a crucial role in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the accounts receivable process, including the issuance and tracking of invoices related to aviation services.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and manage the collection of overdue accounts.

• Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts receivable accounts, including resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.

• Assists in managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Conduct detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, analyze financial data and variances, providing explanations and corrective actions as needed. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in general ledger accounting and reporting

• Assist and contribute to the financial audit process, including the preparation of various audit requests and inquiries.

• Collaborate with internal user departments to gather relevant financial information,

• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Must be a Licensed CPA

• At least 3 years solid experience in accounting

• Experience in financial reconciliation and analysis

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance

• Willing to travel when required
