Intel Foundry Quality and Reliability is building a team and capability from the ground up to tackle the challenges of enabling the Intel Foundry Services (IFS) business. This opportunity combines the freedom and excitement of working in a start-up with the security and benefits of working at Intel.
As is typical in a 'start-up' environment, the right candidate will have demonstrated the ability to excel across a wide range of areas and in an uncertain and shifting environment. This specific opportunity will require a self-starter with applicable technical experience.
The Senior Customer Quality Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
Representing Customer Quality into IFS and other internal partner organizations.
Excursion/incident management of IFS silicon customer material.
Fielding manufacturing-quality-related inquiries from IFS customers and collaborating internally to get the needed responses.
Building partnerships with customers to facilitate continuous improvement within Intel factories.
Supporting customer audit requests.
Being an internal advocate for IFS customers, ensuring that the IFS manufacturing quality/service is on par with industry standards.
Driving suitable business processes and collateral to support the IFS service biz.
Work with Customer on a daily basis, understand their needs and drive results within Intel Foundry.
Regular tracking and reporting of customer KPI internally and with customer.
Driving quality system improvements to enable better customer KPI.
Measuring Customer Quality experience.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a BS/MS in Engineering or similar with 8+ years of applicable experience or
PHD with 5+ yrs of applicable experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong familiarity or expertise in multiple of the following areas is a plus:
Silicon process technology, quality and reliability, 8D process, incoming and outgoing quality assurance, PCN, ISO9001, IATF16949.
Direct experience working in a foundry manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in structured problem solving/excursion management/change notification/audit support.
Ability to balance between Intel's Priority and the needs of customers.
Experience working with external customers, including regular quality reviews.
