At Chewy, we are building operational AI tools to manage critical business functions and developing human factor robots for our fulfillment network. We are hiring an elite team to push the boundaries of how to monitor and manage a large-scale business with limited human intervention. If your ideal day involves managing predictable tasks or incremental improvements, this role won’t be a fit. We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity, who doesn’t just solve problems but redefines them.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform market research on all things AI and Robotics
  • Develop tools to keep Chewy teams informed of industry developments and trends
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners
  • Initiate and manage proof of concept projects with industry partners
  • Develop tools and artifacts that highlight Chewy’s AI and Robotics work

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree (AI, Data Science, Engineering, MIS, CS, or related field)
  • Track record of solving problems others deemed impossible
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous space where ideas are regularly challenged
  • Comfort being deeply wrong and learning from your failures
  • The ability to work with minimal guidance on undefined problems
