Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff On-Site Supplier Technical Liaison.  Must be able to co-locate with supplier 100% of time in Richardson, TX with occasional travel to the Roy, UT program headquarters and supports the Sentinel program.

What You’ll Get To Do:

Support SMT Lead with the following:

  • Drive compliant execution of the subcontract within cost / schedule

  • Address uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities

  • Provide technical support and monitoring in design, manufacturing, test and integration

  • Provide financial (EVMS) support and monitoring

  • Prepare briefings to support the SMT Lead and Segment Leadership in monitoring and controlling the subcontract

  • Support development and review of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)

  • Support review of supplier proposal responses, including performing technical evaluations, reviewing supplier Basis of Estimates (BOEs), overall proposal quality reviews, and attending proposal related reviews

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 12 years of experience; or Master's degree with 10 years of experience; or PhD with 7 years of experience

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

  • 8 years of experience in design, development, manufacturing or testing areas

  • Experience in EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems

  • Experience with Material Review Boards (MRB)

  • Ability to co-locate with supplier 100% of time in Richardson, TX with occasional travel to the Roy, UT program headquarters

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Graduate degree in STEM, related field, or MBA

  • Must have an active Special Access Program (SAP)

  • Proven ability to deliver effective communication verbally, written, and through well-crafted presentations across all levels of an organization

  • Control Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Management System experience

  • Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience with SAP, NX, Team Center, Jira

  • Understanding of Lean, Agile or Six Sigma Tools

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
