The Full Stack Engineer's core focus is to translate software requirements into concise and robust programming code. Coherency of built components within web applications across Telstra Digital. Successful adherence to WCAG Accessibility standards.

What You’ll Do  

  • Analysing requirements Translating

  • Requirements into robust code meeting documented business needs

  • Producing robust software containing minimal bugs and requiring minimal rework

  • Producing quality code that is concise, readable and maintainable by the team

  • Exercising attention to detail to ensure high standard of delivered software

  • Building re-usable components and selling features to the team

  • Writing unit tests and testable code

  • Performing code reviews, i.e: BitBucket, GIT

  • Performing Unit and Integration tests

  • Documenting system changes and user guides

  • Develop new user-facing features

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with more than 7+ years' experience and a strong portfolio.

  • Experience in Java 17+ and JavaScript.

  • 2+ years of ReactJS, NodeJS.

  • 3+ years’ experience in developing great web experiences, including a robust knowledge of web development capabilities, methods and technologies.

  • Solid knowledge of back-end technologies like Java, Spring Boot, and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js).

  • Knowledge of accessibility tools and guidelines.

  • Working knowledge of JIRA.

  • Ability to fix SonarQube issues.

  • Experience in deploying code on the cloud.

  • Ability to coordinate deployment activities.

  • Experience with Selenium and Postman.

  • Knowledge and experience of REST APIs and Apigee.

Highly desirable:

  • Strong understanding or experience with UX and/or Visual Design specialties.

  • Experience with CI/CD practices and automation tools.

  • Experience writing developer centric documentation.

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
