This opportunity is part of our Career Comeback program within our Chief Operating Office (COO) team. You’re an experienced professional who’s taken a career break of two years or more, and are looking to return to the workforce. The program will start on Monday 10th March 2025.

Run over 12 weeks, the paid program is designed to provide you with the re-entry support and training you need to thrive. At the end of the program, permanent positions are available based on your performance and motivation to succeed.

Everyday Banking Operations (EBO) is responsible for the fulfilment, management and servicing of Everyday Banking products including Credit cards disputes, Estate Settlements and Home loan Post settlement and Discharges for CBA. We support our Everyday Banking colleagues and all other segments in delivering exceptional service to a wide range of Retail customers.

We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Everyday Banking Operations team to manage a team of experienced customer service specialists. As a Team Manager you will be required to lead from the front and motivate your team to achieve their best, whilst providing strong coaching and promoting development opportunities. The team you manage will be focussed on servicing a range of Retail Banking customers with their Transaction banking needs.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Taken a career break of 2+ years and are interested in returning to work
  • Experience as a Team Manager with strong people management and leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge of Commercial loans or business products
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
  • Have great time management and sense of urgency
  • Ability to set performance targets and motivate / coach team members to achieve
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a continuous improvement culture within a team
  • Transformation or digitisation experience is desirable (green belt)
  • Permanent Australian working rights and are Sydney based
