Job Summary

Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift Hours: 5:00 AM until 1:30 PM or complete
Pay Rate: $19.50 - $20.86 per hour

Inventory Control Clerks are an integral position within the DC Operation. They must assure the accuracy
of the perpetual inventory from the time the product enters the DC (receiving), it is put away, stocked,
replenished and ultimately shipped to the store accurately. To include Cycle Counting, Returns,
Damages, data entry and any other associated duties in SYS/IC. May be asked to support other
departments to ensure customer service and on-time delivery of product to Rite Aid stores.
The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy and
adhere to our core values and service attributes.

Responsibilities

•Maintain the accuracy of the perpetual inventory at the DC from the time the product enters the DC (receiving), it is put away, stocked, replenished and ultimately shipped to the store accurately. 25% •Conduct Inventory Adjustment Research (Root Cause Analysis of all high dollar variances, top Omits etc.) the Research Analyst reconciles and research root cause of cycle count differences as well as any high dollar inventory adjustment. 25% •Cycle Counters perform the physical count of the product based on SOX requirements as well as all other types of requested counts and verifications. 25% Created By: Imported By Payfactors June 13, 2023 Version: 1 •The slotting associates monitor the velocity of the items (based on velocity analysis) and determines where and how they should be slotted for the most efficient and accurate pick. 10% •Remove from inventory and process any inventory returns (IR’s) that Category Management has requested via the IR portal system. 5% •May be responsible for handling damaged and Hazardaous waste collection and hazardaous waste station maintenance in accordance with OSHA. 5% •Any other duties as assigned by management 5%

Qualifications

Education Level Area of Specialization (Marketing, Finance, Pharmacy, Engineering/IT, etc) Required or Preferred H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Licenses/Certifications Other/List/Reason Required or Preferred Certification for all types of material handling equipment Preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required or Preferred Basic math ability, calculations and accuracy is critical. Attention to details is required as well as an understanding of how the process’ flow within the DC. Basic Excel skills required, including ability to create formulas. Preferred WORK EXPERIENCE Experience Areas of Experience (Pharmacy, Compliance, Ecommerce, Retail, etc) Required or Preferred 1 year of experience in Preferred QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, general business periodicals, operating and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals. Can speak effectively to customers. Able to type, prepare, copy, file, and keep records. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw, and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and trigonometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. SCOPE Freedom to Act Ability to accomplish work with limited direction. Determine and develop approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Problem Complexity and Problem Solving Timeframes Ability to provide resolution to problems that are readily identifiable with limited scope and are resolved in accordance with standard practices, procedures, applications or routines. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: The majority of tasks typically take one to two days to resolve. Contact with Others Contacts are primarily within the department or function with occasional cross-functional interfaces. Some limited external customer contact on routine matters.
