Position Description:
Builds and deploys REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Java and Spring Boot. Implements Test-Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD) and unit testing using various frameworks. Builds automation pipelines by leveraging DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools – Jenkins, GitHub, Cloudbees, uDeploy and Pivotal Concourse. Builds, stores, and manages data using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Develops complex, multi-faceted software applications. Researches and recommends new technologies and participates in the research and recommendation of appropriate models, methods, tools, and technologies to achieve solutions.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering (or closely related occupation) providing technical direction and architectural solutions to solve business problems, using Agile methodologies in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering (or closely related occupation) providing technical direction and architectural solutions to solve business problems, using Agile methodologies in a financial services environment.
