Outsource Support Co-op -- Support outsourcing initiatives on machined parts, weldments, sheet metal, mechanical assemblies and cables/ wire harnessing.  Answer vendor questions related to specifications on assemblies and parts being outsourced.  Coordinate and support component cost reduction initiative.  Interfaces with Design Engineering to correct drawings and/or offer ideas for Design for Manufacturability.  Generate Change Notices to correct or improve Engineering documentation.  Select replacement Components (mechanical and electrical) due to parts obsolescence.  Investigate and select alternative parts to support critical supply chain issues.  Education/Experience: Typically requires a High School diploma with a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
