We're searching for a Materials Management Advisor to join our Syncrude warehouse team. Apply today to be considered for this exciting opportunity!As a Materials Management Advisor, you will work with the business units to help support the day-to-day activities within our Syncrude Warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of two years experience in a warehouse setting
Warehouse journeyman or parts journeyman ticket is an asset
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Knowledge of material, equipment and warehousing day-to-day activities, as well as the safety regulation related to material handling
Experience operating material handling equipment such as a forklift
A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
Knowledge of SAP applications to accurately process inventory transactions and access information
The ability to understand complex processes, and strive to develop and implement continuous improvement and creative process enhancements
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver chemicals totes and various materials to designated areas onsite
Complete inventory cycle counts in all areas of the warehouses
Ensure the accurate and valid receipt of physically received materials during delivery
Manage the process of integrating the materials receipt into the inventory management system
Label all materials before entering into the system and respective storage locations
Visually inspect all materials and direct to quality assurance testing when required
Pick and stage material accurately for authorization for expenditure and maintenance jobs
Act as the frontline contact between the warehouse and other business units
Load and offload material
Ensure housekeeping is maintained in operating areas

You will work out of our Syncrude Mildred Lake location in Fort McMurray, Alberta
The shift schedule is Monday to Friday
This position is safety sensitive
If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
