MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

The IT Asset Analyst is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets within the organization. This includes tracking, auditing, and optimizing the use of hardware, software, and related technology assets to ensure compliance, cost-efficiency, and operational effectiveness. The role supports procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets, working closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, and technical support.

Responsibilities
IT Asset Management
Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets (hardware, software, and mobile devices) throughout their lifecycle—from procurement to end‑of‑life.

Track asset check‑in/check‑out, ownership, warranty status, and condition.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Support asset lifecycle processes including deployment, refresh, retirement, and disposal.

Generate asset utilization reports, audit reports, and lifecycle status dashboards.


Asset Purchasing & Procurement
Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for IT hardware, software, accessories, and mobile devices.

Work with vendors to request quotations, compare pricing, negotiate terms, and recommend cost‑effective solutions.

Raise purchase requests (PRs), manage purchase orders (POs), and track order delivery and fulfillment.

Coordinate with Finance and Procurement to ensure compliance with budget, sourcing policies, and vendor management guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, warranty details, and asset tagging requirements.

Analyze purchasing patterns to recommend bulk buys, vendor consolidation, or contract optimization.


Corporate Mobile Plan Management
Administer corporate mobile phone lines, data plans, and SIM card allocations.

Analyze usage patterns to optimize plan allocation and minimize cost overruns.

Coordinate with telecom carriers for new line activation, plan changes, terminations, and billing issues.

Reconcile and validate monthly carrier bills, identify discrepancies, and facilitate resolution.

Maintain updated inventory of mobile devices, phone lines, and user assignments.

Provide user support for device setup, troubleshooting, roaming requests, and mobile policy compliance.


Operational Support
Assist in developing and improving IT Asset Management (ITAM) policies, procedures, and standards.

Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Support IT Security in enforcing mobile device management (MDM/EMM) policies (e.g., Intune enrollment).

Coordinate device repairs, returns, RMA processing, and warranty claims with vendors.


 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or IT operations.

Hands‑on experience with corporate mobile plans or telecom account management.

Familiarity with IT asset management tools (ServiceNow, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, Intune, SCCM) and CMDB concepts.

Strong vendor coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical ability to interpret usage reports, billing, and cost‑saving opportunities.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements is a plus.

ITIL certification or experience with ITIL practices is an advantage.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Experience with ITSM/Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ManageEngine Service Desk Plus) is an advantage
