As a Sr. Programmer Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing user specifications and requirements related to complex systems applications and generate programs to meet user needs. You will provide daily support including Lawson bug fixes and system administration (job queue monitoring, interface support and security administration).
What you'll do:
Write application programs
Convert specifications into programming language
De-bug applications, including performing initial testing after problem has been fixed
Produce functional (technical) specification document
Outline data structures that need to change and timeframe for making changes
Outline steps for putting program into production
Implement program
Execute program after testing
Lawson bug fixes and system administration (job queue monitoring, interface support and security administration)
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Certifications in IBM software
5+ years relevant experience in Lawson development (i-series preferred) with major version upgrade experience
Experience in Lawson GL, AP and AM
Lawson MSPs, CTPs, ESPs, IOS updates, Lawson Data Structures, building interfaces to other applications and to vendors required
Lawson Security 9 knowledge and Lawson Process Flow Integrator experience
SQL querying skills, Lawson 4GL programming experience
Analytically oriented with strong documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients daily
