Position Purpose:

The Manager of Business Operations fosters a great employee experience, nurtures our culture and day to day operations of the Foundry, which includes the Forge, CX Lab, PLR Space, Industrial Design Center & Office Space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% - Building Maintenance and Improvement - Maintain and enhance the quality of the building. Ensure all facilities are in excellent condition.
  • 5% - Lift Equipment Certification Training - Conduct training sessions for lift equipment certification.
  • 25% - Purchasing and Budget Management -  Manage purchasing activities and audit accounts payable. Track budgets and inventory office supplies. Document processes for people operations and manage inventory.
  • 20% - Vendor and Service Provider Relations - Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, service providers, THD security, and building management. Provide light IT support and coordinate with the IT department.

  • This Position typically reports to the Sr Manager, CB Operations
  • This Position has 1 Direct Reports

Travel Requirements:

  • No travel required.
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
     

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
