The W+ team leads the design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered systems that enhance operational reliability and performance. This team drives technical strategy and execution across platforms, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with enterprise standards. Members focus on continuous improvement by automating processes, optimizing system scalability, and fostering operational excellence. Collaboration and mentorship are key, as the team supports knowledge sharing and high-quality delivery. With expertise in AI agents, reliability engineering, and payments industry solutions, the W+ team plays a critical role in advancing innovative technologies that meet business objectives and customer needs.Responsibilities This role will provide long-term focused technical leadership and guidance to this group of engineers while working on architecture and designs of project that encompass dozens of other microservices, components and applications in the enterprise infrastructure. The impact of this role will be leading from an end-to-end solution. A suitable profile must have a thorough understanding of the engineering infrastructure in a micro-service environment and have a solid understanding of how frontend applications work and plug in.

Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
10+ years of professional experience in various elements of full stack software development – native mobile, web front end, back end, and hands-on coding experience in the past
Experience with a consumer facing app and ecommerce or retail shopping
Hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and platforms
Must haves:
Experienced Architect, providing solutions based on large enterprise architecture formed with microservices
Mastery with Java SDK, Services, and various methods of background processing
Experienced with NoSQL Databases. MongoDB and CosmosDB preferred
Experience with Apache Kafka
Experience working with remote data via REST, JSON, GraphQL, and the HTTP protocol
Experienced integrating data sources, APIs and webservices external to the enterprise infrastructure
Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzers tools (DDMS, MAT)
Optional Qualifications:
Experience working with an orchestration Layer and GraphQL
Experience operating in an Agile environment and using tracking tools like Jira
Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and writing readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented code
Experience working with Kotlin, Coroutines, MVVM, MVVM Clean, View Models, Repository Design pattern, and other architectures

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
