Job Description:

The candidate is responsible for executing internal controls around operational events within Global Markets.

Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes through ongoing monitoring of operational events to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of operational event Quality Assurance controls in-line with enterprise policies
  • Provide guidance on operational event evidence documentation to ensure completeness of required fields in the ORCIT System
  • Assist Business Control Officers (BCOs) by facilitating meetings and information sharing between key stakeholders, business control partners and Compliance/Operational Risk (GCOR)
  • Produce Business Control Forum (BCF) and Regulatory meeting materials (including Sub-Thematic and Trend Reporting)
  • Produce metrics to help monitor timeliness of operational submissions
  • Communicate relevant updates to LOB representatives, COOs, BCOs, GCOR and key stakeholders regarding issues and key deliverables
  • Review the impact of Single Process Inventory (SPI) alignment on operational event performance
  • Review and approve ORCIT Operational Event Access requests for Global Markets Hierarchies in the Access Request Module (ARM) system
  • Assist with additional GM Quality Assurance tasks (i.e. Electronic Communications Reviews, metric monitoring, etc.)

Skills:

  • 5+ years in controls or risk management (business, operations, finance, compliance, operational risk, audit)
  • Demonstrate professional writing proficiency, strong verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines - Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Global Markets Business
  • Familiarity of operational risk program requirements
  • Working knowledge of Cognos, Tableau, ORCIT

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$110,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
