About the Role

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and operation of software applications and IT systems within the organization. The role involves working closely with senior engineers, support teams, and vendors to assist in application development, system enhancements, issue resolution, and operational support across development, test, and production environments.

  • Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications and IT systems.
  • Support senior engineers in analysing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing changes.
  • Participate in application deployments, configuration activities, and environment setup under guidance.
  • Monitor applications and systems, identify issues, and provide first-level analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in incident handling, root cause analysis, and resolution activities.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve application and system-related issues.
  • Support automation efforts for deployments, testing, and routine operational tasks.
  • Maintain proper documentation for applications, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Follow defined IT processes, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Continuously learn and keep up to date with new technologies, tools, and best practices.
