Job Description:


This position is based in our Whitehall customer care center and is considered an on-site position.
 

This role will start in December of 2024.

We are currently hiring for the following schedule:

  • 7 :00 AM - 3:30 PM M-F EST (Ohio)


What You’ll Do

  • Responsible to review, sign and notarize legal documents related to accounts that are placed with various attorneys. Affidavits come from one of two sources: either generated by Discover or by the placement attorney.
  • Works under minimal supervision.
  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.


How You’ll Do It

  • Act as an affiant for incoming affidavits by, reviewing and verifying all information listed on the affidavit.
  • Print and attach any required documents to the affidavits.
  • Sign completed affidavits in the presence of a notary.
  • Act as a notary by swearing in the affiant and witnessing the affiants signing the completed affidavit.


Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of Customer Service, Call Center, or related experience

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Associates degree in Law 
  • 2+ years Customer Service, Call Center, or related experience 
  • Recovery experience

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $17.99 to $26.44. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
