About the role:

As a Registered Nurse (Casual) you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of SVCS Mitchelton.

St Vincent's Care Services Mitchelton (historically known as St Joseph's Villa, Madonna Villa and Oxford Park) is a carefully restored former monastery with 176 beds and located less than 10kms from the Brisbane CBD.  

Please note shifts are as below:

PM shifts 1400-2215

Week 1 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
  • Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
  • National Police Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check is a requirement of this role.
