Position Title: Manager, VRF/PAC System Design

Location: Wuxi Plant

What you will do:

  • Lead the design and development of VRF/PAC system solutions that meet global market requirements.
  • Evaluate design requirements for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Oversee component selection for optimal performance according to ASHRAE and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product management, procurement, and manufacturing.
  • Manage the product development process from conception to delivery, ensuring quality and timing.
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure engineering calculations and simulation checks are performed accurately.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Mentor design engineers and support team development initiatives.

How you will do it:

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve design and functional requirements.
  • Utilize simulation tools to validate system designs prior to production.
  • Work collaboratively across various teams to implement changes based on feedback.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and changes in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental guidelines, maintaining operational excellence.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC product design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of VRF/PAC systems and HVAC standards (AHRI, ASHRAE).
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and HVAC simulation software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience in international product development.
  • Knowledge of additional HVAC technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards related to HVAC manufacturing.
