The Content Mgmt. Advisory Analyst is a professional in gathering, analyzing, storing, classifying, and distributing digital content to consumer-facing sites, digital asset management systems, and product detail pages.

It manages and develops content across multiple platforms, databases, and applications. With analytical capacity and familiarity with PIM/DAM/PXM platforms. Support digital asset management, Web content management and content integration. Develop scalability architecture for content workflows.

It may have client interaction and should be capable of assessing, coordinating, and managing assigned workloads.

Able to generate reports.

It raises risk concerns promptly and pushes time-sensitive content across multiple retailer platforms and marketplaces.

Client communications skills desired (chat/email/calls).

  • High Intermediate English skills: Shows proficiency in writing, reading, and speaking English.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (statistics, formulas, reporting, macros, and power queries).
  • Experience working in agile projects and play an active role during daily, planning, and retrospective meetings.
  • Software development methodologies knowledge, such as Agile or Waterfall, and expertise in workflow orchestration tools such as Workfront, JIRA, and Confluence is desired.
  • Experience working on enterprise projects, following defined guidelines by product owners and meeting deadlines.
  • PIM/DAM platforms knowledge, with experience with asset manipulation: metadata, asset hierarchy, and overall Digital Asset Management
  • Intermediate Digital Asset Management skills (Adobe Suite, Media Optimization).
  • At least two years of experience in content management or related fields is preferred.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing.
  • Experience with peer review methodologies and their importance for the project’s quality.
  • Gen AI prompting and solution development is desired.

Data Management

  • Manage digital libraries using a broad set of storage, retrieval, reporting, and analytical tools.
  • Initiate, plan, manage, execute, and/or collaborate with data standards compliance initiatives to ensure data integrity across digital asset distribution channels and management systems.
  • Perform digital management system administration tasks, such as managing user access and permissions, creating, and removing metadata fields, give maintenance at the administration end, and archiving old content.
  • Create or follow digital asset management back up processes as necessary.
  • Able to integrate Data Management practices leveraging GenAI tools (impacting Data Integrity, Architecture Taxonomy, and QA).

Data Collection

  • Gather validated content from authorized parties, such as brand teams or creative agencies.
  • Extract content from up-to-date documentation such as deal sheets, product mechanicals or 2D artwork.
  • Use authorized digital libraries and repositories to retrieve digital content and information.
  • Assist on automated solutions using AI-driven Generation Tools (when possible).

Data Auditing

  • Ensure digital content integrity across managed assets and stages of the asset management process.
  • Identify digital content gaps in downstream systems or websites and report them through the proper channels.
  • Validate assets and content to ensure quality and adherence to prescribed standards.
  • Verify provided content and assets are complete, if not, keep track of missing information through proper channels with the client.
  • Able to drive AI-powered QA tools for automated testing and validation of data.

Data Analysis

  • Use reporting and data analysis tools to produce pertinent metrics related to the team’s performance and the work process, such as metadata completion and/or accuracy percentages, image comparison scores, and missing product information counts.
  • Make data visualizations to facilitate data gap identification.
  • Make reports to facilitate monitoring and control of content collection, management, and downstream syndication.

Content Manipulation

  • Manipulate digital content according to validated protocols to fill minor content creation gaps, such as adjusting images to meet downstream system intake requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with metadata per industry requirements.
  • Able to drive AI-powered solutions designed for content creation, curation, and distribution. Adoption of AI for content personalization and recommended engines.

Downstream Data Distribution and Syndication

  • Distribute digital content to downstream systems, such as other content repositories, client-facing websites, or established requestors.
  • Maintain content consistent across all downstream systems and ingestion points.
  • Ensure compliance with metadata as well as with all regulatory requirements, if any.

Role Specific

  • Analyze digital asset management processes to advice on technical matters regarding implementations of new solutions or improvements to existing ones.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling incoming client requests.
  • Run peer-to-peer quality assurance and provide feedback.
  • Good Stakeholder management (internal and external).

Skills Required

  • High Intermediate English skills: Writing, reading, speaking.
  • Microsoft Excel: Data manipulation best practices, data integrity, information, text and logic formulas, pivoting, analyzing large data sets.
  • Project management tools (JIRA, Sharepoint, WorkFront, Project Office)
  • Report design and development: Present data in the most effective form. leverage AI-powered analytics platforms for advanced data analysis is desired
  • Content maintenance and management: Organize, categorize, and publish content and information using specific tools and channels, for use by different groups and individuals within the organization.
  • Digital asset management: Provide experience with the methods, tools and products used to manage digital assets including the tasks and decisions surrounding ingesting, annotating, cataloguing, storage, and retrieval of those assets.
  • Familiarity and experience with the methods and tools of Operational Excellence: Collaborate with and be consulted in the process of documenting OpEx processes for the stable and predictable operation of his/her team.
  • Data Analysis basics (reporting, data graphic reporting, gap analysis).
  • Asset Management proficiency
  • Experience in at least one PIM/DAM platform, such as Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, inRiver, or similar platforms.
  • Information architecture and taxonomy: Help deliver solutions that improve data quality, reduce data redundancy, decrease data inconsistency, and standardize data, improving flexibility and time-to-market as well as reducing complexity.
  • Metadata design: Collaborate with others in the design or maintenance of metadata taxonomies to leverage the value of libraries of digital asset managers.
  • PXM certifications completed or applied experience on an equivalent platform.
  • Traffic management tools understanding (JIRA, Sharepoint, WorkFront, Project Office, etc.)
  • Ensuring good time management (including down time).
  • Problem solving and critical thinking: Apply logic, reason, and situational analysis in order to find viable solutions to non-standard, uncommon, or new problems.
  • Good communication skills (team collaboration, call, chat, email, tickets, etc.) with excellent response times.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail (previous projects and experience).
  • Highly proactive, motivated, and innovative, with ability and willingness to share his/her knowledge with peers.

Recommended Academic Background

Degree in the following or similar is preferred: Communications, marketing, library science, data analytics, copywriting, information system design or management.
