We are looking for a passionate supply chain professional! The GSM plays a critical role in ensuring operational success for the global supply chain organization. In this role, you will be responsible for materials readiness, availability, and visibility with a goal that our turn-key materials never show up on the critical path.

The GSM will manage the CTB ("clear to build") process with our engineers, suppliers and CMs, ensuring that we have efficient process and clear visibility on our supply chain strategy. Your successful ability to partner with CMs and the global commodity team on material strategy will directly impact our product success. Above the CM’s materials management role, we also expect the professional can bring great value to help supply chain process optimization through data analysis and digital transformation with proven track record in the career.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Clear-to-Build (CTB) Management: provide visibility to materials supply, highlighting projected coverage and constraints. CTB projections govern what we can commit to customers against AVC for revenue products and RSD for Engineering QT builds.

  • Review and ensure the robust CM material management system and processes are in place, drive the SCAR’s for non-compliances, including site balance, safety stock and E&O mitigation strategies.

  • Act as Level 3 material escalation point through closely working with suppliers and distributors for shortage expedites, as well as working with engineering team for alternative solutions, with the goal that turnkey materials never on the critical path.

  • Provide level 4 escalation to GCM team through managing CM to provide accurate and up-to-date material Supply Demand reports on the critical shortages and follow through the shortages until closure.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. Find opportunities to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional Operations teams and leverage Power BI and other world class tools to optimize supply chain processes and improve collaboration amongst Operations team.

  • Prepare and communicate critical Materials availability updates to cross functional leadership teams; maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on agreed cadence.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, IE, supply chain or Business preferred

  • 8+ years most recent experience in materials planning, production planning/control, master scheduling or supply chain manufacturing.

  • Experience with world-class EMS industry supply chain processes is a must.

  • Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.

  • Advanced modeling and predictive analytical skills; "Advanced User" of MS Excel with deep understanding of Excel techniques.

  • Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization and digital transformation is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including good English command with the ability to present to management required.
