Job Summary
The Sr Solutions Engineer will join our Marketplace Technical Operations team. The Marketplace Technical Operations team acts as strategic partners across the organization by helping stakeholders make fast-paced operations decisions. This role is a vital component for FreeWheel's Marketplace business, which enables the most premium video inventory owners and buyers - such as TV Programmers, MVPDs, major digital media publishers, advertisers, agencies, and DSPs - to drive successful business outcomes at scale. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams to operate the internal business and functional aspects of our programmatic capabilities. The successful candidate will require excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically while being analytical and detail oriented.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational support for programmatic business, adapting to evolving priorities and market needs
• Ensure the buy side & sell-side databases are accurately maintained through routine data validation, updates, and reconciliation with internal and external sources
• Coordinate and maintain the incentive program discount order process, including processing updates, tracking changes, and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor SSP partner performance and engage partners to investigate and resolve discrepancy and QPS issues
• Maintain and update seller blocklists for buyers, ensuring timely implementation and accuracy across systems
• Ability to assess incoming requests for risk, severity and urgency
• Consistently update and enhance internal processes
• Cross team collaboration to help bring data insights to partners & clients
Minimum Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in account management, partner-facing or operational roles within ad tech; digital video or CTV experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including SSP and ad server technologies, DSP buying behavior, auction dynamics, and cross-platform video environments.
• Strong familiarity with OpenRTB specifications is required.
• Advanced excel skills
• Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Looker or similar BI dashboards).
• Highly organized and self-motivated with a track record of delivering against goals.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical groups.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within or alongside a supply-side platform (SSP) or ad server environment in a publisher-facing capacity.
• Familiarity with CTV supply chain workflows, including programmatic deal types (PMP, PG, open exchange), the ORTB spec and marketplace dynamics.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of driving process improvements in fast-paced, technically complex environments
• Experience working at an SSP, DSP or programmatic roles in DSP, Publisher or Agency companies preferred
• Experience using AI tools

Primary Location Pay Range: $106,822.08 - $160,233.12Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
