Responsibilities
Oaktree is seeking a Treasury Manager to lead our Payments Team and support broader treasury operations across the firm. This role will manage day‑to‑day payment operations, strengthen Oaktree’s global cash movement infrastructure, and interface with the Capital Activity, Fund Accounting, Deal Operations, and Cash Operations.
You will oversee the operational execution of payments, ensure proper controls and compliance, interface with banking
partners, and contribute to Oaktree’s continued modernization of its treasury and banking environment.
This is a highly visible role that blends operational leadership, governance responsibilities, and strategic project work.
Responsibilities include:
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Treasury, Payments, Fund Operations, or related financial operations.
Experience managing or overseeing a payments function or operational team.
Strong knowledge of wire processing, banking portals, cash movement controls, and exception management.
Familiarity with SOX, internal controls, approval workflows, and user entitlements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to interact with executives and cross-functional teams.
High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills.
Familiarity working with large or complex data sets
Working knowledge of capital calls, distributions, and fund structures.
Exposure to SWIFT, ISO 20022 formats, and bank connectivity channels.
Experience with treasury technology (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury) or bank portal modernization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams or equivalent applications
Experience in Bank Fee Analysis a plus
Experience in PowerBI a plus
CTP a plus
