Position Overview:

The Corporate Relations System Specialist has primary responsibility for maintaining the corporate relations CRM housed currently in Salesforce. The specialist helps organize corporate relations work group meetings, gathers corporate relations reports from internal stakeholders for input into the CRM, and disseminates notes from the CRM to relevant stakeholders. The position also has responsibility for supporting overall corporate relations activities on campus, which include planning and executing corporate relations events, developing meeting and visit agendas and providing support to corporate relations meeting and visits, to include ‘summits’ with corporate partners. In addition, the position has responsibility for assisting with managing data in support of the university corporate relations balanced scorecard. The Corporate Relations System Specialist supports planning and execution of corporate relations meetings at external events such as airshows and symposiums. They also assists with tracking expenditures for corporate relations and helps manage university external sponsorship funding. The position interacts closely with the support staff to the office of the president and other core leadership team’s support staff to help communicate and coordinate corporate relations activities across the university.  

Job Functions:

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of data each month into Salesforce.
  • Coordinate monthly corporate relations work group meetings and follow-up from those meetings.
  • Disseminates CRM data to stakeholders across the university.
  • Plans and synchronizes efforts in support of a full week dedicated to meetings, events and recruiting for our largest corporate partner, to include receptions and dinners. 
  •  Plans and supports all corporate relations visits on campus, working closely with the president’s  office on meetings involving the president. Develops visit agendas, plans logistics and supports execution of the visit.
  • Assists in tracking and processing external sponsorships from the university to other organizations.
  • Consolidates and submits a yearly roll-up of sponsorships requiring BOT approval.
  •  Plans and supports all visits for the core leadership team at international airshows and university level symposiums and trade shows.
  • Assists in disseminating corporate relations surveys to such groups as IAB members.
  • Assists in monitoring expenses for corporate relations activities and supporting budgetary activities.
  • Assists in preparing the yearly budget request.

  • MS Office; Salesforce (Preferred)
