The Integrated Operations Training Task Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining functional position training materials for each of the six functional areas within All Spark Integrated Operations (AS IO), ensuring proficiency training is accomplished and the AS IO team is fully qualified to perform the mission assigned.  The five functional areas are: Shift Supervisor, Operations Bridge, Enterprise Monitoring, Analysis Center and COMM Maintenance Planning Coordinator. 

The Training Task Lead will assist HR, recruiting, and site management with the new employee on boarding and ensure newly hired employees are issued functional position qualification training materials, support the employee through functional position training process and track progress.  This includes ensuring all qualification standards are met and training requirements are completed. 

The Training Task Lead is also responsible for tracking DoD 8570 IAT certification compliance per the statement of work and per the reporting requirement from the customer.  The Training Task Lead will be responsible for reporting compliance and provide IAT Level 1 or IAT Level 2 certification details to customer, when requested or at a minimum of twice per year.  The Training Task Lead should be familiar with the IT Service Management platform Service Now in particular, Event, Change, and Problem Management Modules and be able to train personnel on the fundamentals of this suite of tools. 

The Task Lead will coordinate with IO Leadership on managerial tasks, to include: time card completion, leave coordination, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and any relevant managerial tasks.  The Task Lead will administer daily activities a team of 4 Trainers who work within the Integrated Operations functional area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all personnel required to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 or Level 2 certified per the requirements for the functional position they fill.
  • Ensures all new employees are issued functional position qualification training material pertaining to the position for which they were hired.
  • Assist HR, recruiting, and site management with the new employee on boarding
  • Provides the customer an AIWEP report at least twice a year, reporting certification compliance per the contract statement of work.
  • Develops and maintains qualification training material
  • Working with the Situational Awareness as a Service (SAaaS) team, develops and maintains training materials pertaining to the Service Now (SNOW) Change, Event, Incident and Problem Management Modules and trains personnel on the fundamentals of these tools.
  • Collaborate with mission partner personnel in the development and administration of relevant training material and course work
  • Conducts retraining or re-qualification training for personnel as needed
  • Responsible for designing specific training materials (content, objects, modules, or courses).
  • Conduct needs assessment, curriculum design, and developing new and/or updating existing materials/content to meet training requirements.
  • Ability to administer training to personnel across two CONUS locations, with potential travel opportunities               
  • Collaborate with IO Leadership on managerial tasks, including time card completion, leave coordination, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and any relevant managerial tasks

                                                                                                                                                                            

Required Experience:

The IT Service Management nature of this position, it requires experience with IT Service Management operations and an understanding of the technical functional areas that the contract supports.

  • Proven Service Operations Experience
  • Ability to provide IT Service Management technical training and curriculum development
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of network operations and IT services

Nice to have:

  • Security+ certification
  • ITIL v4 certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years related work experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
