Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. The WFC, the 4th most highly attended arena nationally and 7th most attended in the world is home to 270+ events per year, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and events. Comcast Spectacor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast and maintains connected and disconnected networks within the Wells Fargo Center.

Job Summary

This role will report to the Lacrosse Operations Manager and work primarily in support of Team Operations staff for all gameday needs. This individual will play a crucial role in the implementation of itineraries for all home games and will help with logistical needs of the Operations staff.
Additionally, this individual will provide broader support to the wider organization as it plans and prepares for the 2024-2025 season, which will include practices, team shootarounds, gamedays, and Training Camp.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Lacrosse Operations Manager in building out needs for the upcoming 2024-2025 season including travel and logistics for players, team finances, and ordering of team gear.
  • Help the Operations Team with practice, shootaround, and gameday responsibilities. These will include helping with meals, making sure players have what they need for practice and shootaround, and helping set up and take down locker room.
  • Help implement key team events during the season; Meet the Team and Team Photo
  • Help manage team finances and build out budget trackers for the season.
  • Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

Base Pay: $8.00
