Associate Director, HNW Wealth Planning Consultant (Agency Channel)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate new business opportunities within the high-net-worth market segment through agency channel

  • Partner with experienced agents to create insurance opportunities by identifying customers wealth management needs and introduce appropriate insurance solutions on their high-net-worth portfolios

  • Provide support to agents through coaching on HNW Legacy Planning solution including products knowledge of Trust, Will and Power of Attorney Writing, etc.

  • Launch campaigns and other activities to boost sales activities and no. of active agents, including but not limited to organizing seminars, forum, district-based training/activity

  • Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance/governance guidelines and market regulations.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree or above

  • Over 8 years related HNW business experience focusing on private client solution, wealth planning solution, or trust solution.

  • Experience in using Insurance and Fiduciary structure (e.g offshore trust) as planning tools

  • To help our channel stakeholders (e.g. agency force) understand the benefits of legacy planning structures and in the administrative and technical aspects of these structures

  • To work into building good relationship with professional intermediates in the private wealth sector, e.g. Trust specialist, accountants and lawyers

  • Familiar with HNW insurance market landscape, especially in the Mainland Chinese Market.

  • To drive and execute initiatives from firmwide perspective in the HNW/Private Client segment

  • Good understanding of the international development impacting HNWIs

  • Private banking Wealth Planner, Tax Advisory, or Trustee experience preferred

  • Result orientated with emphasis on customer and quality

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as presentation skills (visual and verbal)

  • Significant level of risk, sales quality, and compliance awareness

  • Fluent in Chinese, Putonghua, and English

  • Professional insurance qualifications and licenses is an advantage

  • Candidate with less experience will consider as Senior Manager
