Caterpillar’s Excavation (EXD) division is hiring a Senior Project Manager within their Work Tool Business Development team. 

Role Summary: Drive continuous sales growth through strategic partner engagement. Lead, manage, and support projects related to the development and implementation of growth opportunities and process and product improvements in Caterpillar’s work tool business within the Excavation Division.   

What You’ll Do (Job Duties) 

• Analyze and identify growth opportunities for work tools from a product and region perspective 

• Lead projects to improve business results and drive financial results including developing project plans and business cases 

• Identify and run process improvement projects across the portfolio inclusive of point-of-sale offerings and aftermarket opportunities 

• Data analysis of global business results and communicate monthly results of work tools business plans with division leadership 

• Gather information and benchmark best practices for business line improvement opportunities 

• Work with peers from numerous divisions to analyze, scope, lead and execute process improvement projects

• Project Management:  Ability to lead complex, global projects that will ultimately lead to customer solutions 

Top Candidates Will Also Have  

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, with consideration for other related fields or work tools industry experience 

• Excellent business acumen, collaboration, and leadership skills 

• Previous commercial experience 

• Previous team management experience 

• Ability to work with global teams and resolve issues independently
• Strong command of English in both written and verbal communication is essential.
